For the first time ever, you can now submit offers directly to sellers through the Currents app! Whether you’re browsing Marketplace listings or diving into a specific item, simply click the “Make Offer” button, fill out the details, and your offer is instantly sent to the seller—no middlemen, no delays.
How It Works:
- Tap Make Offer from the Marketplace view or listing page.
- Enter your offer price, specify shipping terms, and add any special conditions.
- Choose your delivery location (important for freight!).
- Hit Submit—your offer goes straight to the seller for review.
Seller Experience:
Sellers get instant notifications of new offers and can accept, decline, or counter. They can even manage multiple offers at once and match your last offer if they choose to move things along faster.
Buyer Experience:
You’ll be notified when a seller responds. If they counter, you can accept, reject, or counter again. Offers are valid for 7 days, and once accepted, you’ll receive instructions to finalize the purchase. Remember, an item isn’t reserved until payment is completed!
Tips for a Smooth Negotiation:
- Be reasonable with your offers.
- Include polite notes if you have a specific reason for your price.
- Move quickly once your offer is accepted to secure your item.
